1st XI
The 1st XI find themselves somewhat unlucky to be in 15th place after the first five games. Having two games abandoned has not helped the cause. Out of the other three, the 1XI beat fellow division 2 side Amersham very comfortably and lost two close games to division one sides, Henley by 1 wicket and Datchet with only 2 overs to spare. The 1st XI are currently 12 points of 8th spot and 17 points off 4th. With 3 games left, the 1XI will need the weather to be on their side and win all three if they are to stand a chance of finishing in that top 8. Individual performances: Matt Ogden is the 8th leading run scorer in the league with 176 runs @ 88. With the ball, Tom Crick is the 4th leading wicket taker having tallied 8 wickets @ 14.75. Will Hatton is the 6th League wicket keeper in the HCPL with 6 catches, whilst Tom Mcleod finds himself 7th in the catching department with 4 outfield catches. 2nd XI The 2nd XI find themselves joint top of the tree in division 3b. They have started the season extremely well, recording four comfortable victories with an unfortunate match abandoned. They have provided strong all-round performances each week. Whether they have bowled or batted first the 2XI have looked very assured at this level and will look forward to greater challenges in the next four weeks, where they have to take on the rest of the current top four. The 2nd XI are currently in 1st place, level with Marlow on 95 points and 16 ahead of 3rd spot. The 2XI have had some sterling individual performances: Will Shepherd is one of three Harefield lads in the top 10 run scorers in the division. Sheppy has scored 182 runs @ 60.67 (he is the 3rd leading run scorer), with Skipper Olly Richards 6th (130 runs @ 32.50) & Howard Lippiatt 7th (120 runs @ 30). Russ Petley finds himself top of the batting averages with 95 runs in 3 innings @ 95. From the bowling perspective, Scott Morris is the 4th leading wicket taker in the division having taken 9 wickets @14.44. Nakul Hirani and Sam Beacham also find themselves in the top 10 (7th and 8th) with 8 wickets apiece. With these facts and figures in mind it is no surprise to find two Harefield catchers in the top 2. Jamie Knife with 7 catches and Sheppy with 5. 3rd XI This season so far has not turned out what the 3rd XI would have hoped for so far. Having played 5 and won none, they unsurprisingly find themselves at the bottom of the table. Like the 1st XI the weather has beaten them on two occasions. The 3XI have struggled with the willow in hand this season, in the first two games, barely reaching the 30 over mark before being bowled out. However, their last time outshines a glimmer of hope with a very respectable score of over 200 versus local rivals, Hillingdon Manor 2nd XI. This hopeful should become somewhat of a turning point in the season and with a few more performances like that, the 3rd XI will no doubt turn it around. The 3XI are currently adrift at the bottom of the table by 15 points and behind 7th & 8th by 18. Individual performances to note: S. Bukhari is the 10th leading scorer in the division with 108 runs @ 27. Michael Norris is the 3XI leading wicket taker with 3 wickets.
